Large inlaid bolo tie Mudhead dancer figurine by famous Zuni Pueblo maker Verna Luna. Elegant inlay composition of dancer with large crown, sterling overlay mini-drum tips with bulls on braided black leather cord. Signed with “VL” and arrow cipher on the underside of each drum tips, bolo unsigned but confirmed as Verna Luna’s work. Acid tests as sterling silver.

Vintage: 1940-1980

Very Good; light wear with age to stones and tarnish
