Beautiful hand-coiled and painted Hopi seed jar made by Chereen Nampeyo, great-granddaughter of the famous Nampeyo. 
Expertly painted polychrome decoration. Known for sculptural pottery forms with hand-painted designs inspired by ancient pieces found near the sacred Third Mesa, where the Hopi have lived for hundreds of years. 
Signed by the artist on underside with corn stark monogram.
