Pair of Large Ormolu Mount Sèvres Vases in Celedon Green

Pair of celadon-green glazed French porcelain Sèvres vases with gold ormolu mounts of tessellated ribbons and draped floral swag garlands along with detailed egg and dart collars and bases.
Bronze gilt bases cover any maker's marks, but one has been drilled to reveal a MP Sevres mark in maroon (we have provided an example in purple for reference).
This mark belongs to the 1900-1930 period from renowned French designer Paul Milet. He used Sevres factory porcelain blanks that he decorated with hand painted celedon glaze and beautiful ormolu mounts.

Very rare and desirable color and design.
8" W x 14.5" H
Condition: Very Good; some wear to gilt mounts
