Antique Haley's Comet Pattern Apache Basket Bowl

Beautifully woven basket tray by the Apache tribe of Arizona. Three rod construction with split yucca and devil's claw materials with a counter-clockwise coil direction are all specific to Apache work. Depicting Haley's Comet with a long tail, this basket was woven around 1910 during its last passing in that time period. Museum collection marking on back.
