1960s Herman Miller Eames Rosewood DCM Chairs, 6 Available

SOLD

Craftsman

A set of 6 Charles and Ray Eames' iconic DCM bent plywood dining chairs with rosewood bent plywood (a special order that is no longer offered and is quite rare from this period as well) from an original production of Herman Miller dating to the early 1960s. Clearly marked on the underside with cream "Medallion" tags and patent lists.

It is very uncommon to find a group of 6 DCM's (especially in rosewood) that have been together their whole lives, so we prefer to keep them as a set, and these are priced accordingly.

Condition: Very Good; original condition with some wear to surfaces from use, 3 chairs are lighter in color that the other 3 due to sun exposure.

19.5" L x 20" W x 30" H

Ruby + George is excited to introduce "The Knoll Nebraska Collection" to our customers. Purchased to furnish a home in rural Nebraska in the mid-to-late 1950s, this suite of furniture had only 1 owner. They had exquisite taste as every piece was either Knoll, Dux, or Herman Miller, mostly favoring Florence Knoll's spare and classic lines. The 3-seat sofa of her design is the newest addition to the group and has a delivery date of 1977. All pieces are in good condition and were taken care of during their stay in Nebraska.
