Antique Mission handmade oak box embellished with three thick plates of sterling silver set with turquoise by Navajo artist Edison Begay. Signed: "EB Sterling" on one of the silver portions. Edison Begay (b. 1954) is a self-taught silversmith known for taking a range of antique and vintage items like small tables, boxes, and other objets and modifying them with sterling silver and often turquoise.

Condition: Very Good; light wear with crack to largest stone
