1940's handwoven basket from the Tohono O'odham of the American Southwest.
These peoples, formerly known as Papago, have woven baskets for thousands of years for everything from gathering and storing to cooking.
Excellent condition in mustard yellow and sand colors, this example is great for holding keys or organizing other clutter.
