1930's Grey, White, and Gold Navajo Rug 3' x 5'

Navajo Artist

Wide Ruins weaving area Navajo Rug with fine homespun and naturally dyed wool. Dating to the late 1930's when a natural dye revival came back into vogue producing, at first, the exact colors seen in this rug. Golds, deep greys, light greys, and creams have been expertly combined in wide stripes and serrated chevrons for a stunning impact. Rare teal end cord and corner tassels, whose dye was likely derived from the Grey Chamiso plant.
